I’m so excited to share this with you. I learned how to do make these hanging paper flowers from a YouTube video – but the video was grainy and really annoying to have to sit & watch, rewind, replay, repeat, ahh… you get the idea. I’m much better at following instructions through photos than I am through video. In case you’re like me, you’ll appreciate this tutorial. Choose whatever color tissue paper you’d like and arrange those colors in whatever order you’d like as well. I went with pink & purple – girly colors for Meme’s girly birthday party. You can hang them from wherever you’d like. I hung mine from the cafe string lights that we always have hanging in our courtyard. If you plan on hanging them from a high ceiling, for example, remember to cut your craft ribbon to a longer length (that’s in Step 1).

Seriously… did you make your bed today? If not, shame on you (just kidding). Did you know that making your bed in the morning sets the tone for the entire rest of the day? It’s true. I’ve heard that multiple times from multiple people. If you don’t believe me try it & you’ll see for yourself. It has the same affect that putting on make-up & getting out of pajamas does. It somehow tells your brain subconsciously that the day has begun now get prepared to face it with your best foot forward… well, that’s my interpretation of it. One of the most valuable pieces of advice I’ll ever give (to be especially followed when having a bad day or during one of life’s difficult seasons) is: make your bed.
